Holiday time again! Gwyliau, here we come!
To get us all in the mood for the holiday season I thought I’d share my (extended) packing list with you. Do you use a packing list for your holidays at all? I’m very good at forgetting the barest of necessities, which is absolutely no good when taking a family of five on a trip abroad, so I certainly do.

Let’s make this an exercise, shall we? Compiling word collections and writing vocabulary lists are great for learning languages. And all the better when they serve a practical, down-to-earth purpose!
A packing list, quite naturally, contains many items you surround yourself with in everyday life: Clothes, toiletries, electronical devices… You name it! So a packing list is very likely to contain plenty of immediately useful bits and pieces of vocabulary. Splendid!
BUT (there always is a BUT).
The BUT here is that the best lists are, of course, the lists you compile YOURSELF. So don’t just copy mine but use it as a basis to write your own. Besides you will probably want to take a whole lot of different things, depending on the “where”, “when”, and “who with” of your holidays.
